What this site collects, which on most of it is nothing at all.

This page describes what thedispatchwire.com collects. The short version is that the articles collect nothing at all, and one page on the domain, which is reached only from an advertisement, collects a small amount and is described in full below.

The editorial pages

The home page, the articles, this page and the about page set no cookies, load no tracking pixels and contain no JavaScript of our own. There is no advertising network, no social widget and no embedded video, and nothing on them profiles you or follows you to another website.

There is one exception and we would rather name it than let you find it. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, and Cloudflare adds its own small measurement script to the pages it serves for us. It is called Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and records how quickly pages loaded. It sets no cookie, it does not use a device fingerprint, and it does not track a visitor from one site to another. We did not add it and we cannot see anything in it beyond page counts.

What the host records

Cloudflare also keeps standard server logs of requests, including IP addresses, for a limited period, for security and abuse prevention. This happens for any website and we do not use those logs for advertising.

The questionnaire page

One page on this domain, at the address /quiz/, is a promotional questionnaire for a paid training product. It is not linked from anywhere in the editorial section and is excluded from search engines. If you have reached it, you reached it from an advertisement.

That page is different, and here is exactly what it does:

  • It stores a random identifier in your browser's local storage, so that a refresh or a return visit is not counted as a new person. It is a random string and contains nothing about you.
  • It records that the page was opened, and which of a handful of milestones you reached, such as starting the questions or closing the page.
  • It records the answers you select, which are five multiple choice questions about how you prefer to learn. It does not ask for your name, your email address, your income or anything about your finances.
  • It reads marketing parameters from the address the advertisement sent you with, so that the advertiser can tell which advertisement brought you.
  • It sends those records to a server operated by The System Way at hub-api.thesystemway.com.

If you continue from that page to the product it advertises, you leave this domain, and the privacy policy of the destination applies from that point.

What we never collect

No part of this site asks for or stores your name, postal address, telephone number, date of birth, financial details or any special category of personal data. There is no newsletter, no account, no login and no contact form.

Your rights

You can clear the identifier described above at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain, which removes it permanently. If you would like to know what has been recorded against it, or want it deleted, write to support@thesystemway.com and say so. Depending on where you live you may have a legal right to that, and we will do it either way.
